• Room 1 (twin room)

    This is our twin room. Its bathroom is just outside it as we did not want to alter the structure of the building. This room faces a beautiful airy gallery where to unwind and connect to Wi-Fi if needed.

  • Room 2 (double room with private external bathroom)

    Room 2 is also on the first floor next to our breakfast area. It faces the same beautiful gallery of Room n.1 and its private bathroom is just outside. All our rooms are provided with fans and a locally waived basket for shopping.

  • Room 3 (double room with private bathroom)

    Room 3 is our blue room. Situated on the first floor, it features a living corner and an ensuite bathroom. Both room 3 and 4 are next to another smallest gallery with a little library and many comfortable couches where to relax.

  • Room 4 (double room with private bathroom)

    Room 4 is a tastefully decorated double room with private ensuite bathroom and next to a cozy living area where many comfortable sofas and couches invite you to relax with a book (and access Wi-Fi!).

  • Room 5 (double room with balcony and sea view)

    On our second and top floor, Room 5 features an airy and spacious terrace overlooking the sea and the fort. You will have a L shaped couch where to relax and a table where to unwind with a drink. It also features a smaller terrace with a day bed and a private bathroom. You will be able to access Wi-Fi from the terraces before heading to your comfortable bedroom (possibility of adding a third bed if needed!).

  • Room 6 (double room with balcony and sea view)

    On our second and top floor, Room 6 has also a very spacious terrace with a table and a living area made of beautiful Swahili armchairs. Its bedroom has a big double bed and also an extra bed for a third person if needed (or it can became a day bed for a nap!). Next to its bathroom, a ladder leads to our roof overlooking the whole of Lamu Town, the sea, and beautiful sunsets.

  • Room 7 (family room)

    This ground floor spacious room faces the tranquil courtyard of the ancient women’s quarter when Subira was the governor’s house. It feautures a very big bed, an extra bed and a comfortable outside living area with a large corner sofa. We usually rent it on a weekly basis.
